How Big Is a Dingo?

Adult dingoes can be as long as 1.25 m (about 4 feet) from nose to tail.
They can weigh up to 16 kg (about as heavy as a small child).
They stand about 0.6 m (2 feet) tall at the shoulders.

What Sound Do Dingoes Make?

Dingoes don’t bark much like pet dogs. Instead they howl to talk to their pack and warn other dingoes. Their howls can be long and musical, or short and sharp when they’re excited.
